Book Review by Aarene Storms: Mooncop
Mooncop by Tom GauldThe Mooncop makes his rounds every day. He finds a lost dog, locates a wandering museum automaton, eats a doughnut in his car, and submits his reports. There is no crime on the moon; instead, each day there are more machines and fewer people.
Then his favorite doughnut kiosk is upgraded to a cafe, staffed by somebody new.
The last page made me laugh out loud.
No blood, no cussing, no kissing, no sex. This is a simple, powerful, poignant little story. Highly recommended.
The events may not have happened; still, the story is true. --R. Silvern
