They found two bodies: a 36-year-old woman who was in the process of getting a divorce from the suspect, and a 35-year-old man who was not named by police.

“A tragic day today,” Barren said.

Officials with the Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office said Tuesday the woman was Theresa Watts and the man was Terrance Smith. Both had gunshot wounds to the head.

The suspect and his wife had a history of domestic violence dating back to 2003, and included assaults, Barren added. The suspect had a dangerous weapons charge from 2009.

The couple was separated and the woman had a personal protection order taken out against her husband….

So, they name the murder vics, they name the woman’s surviving kids, but they refuse to name the suspect? I’ve seen this deception out of the Detroit PD before.
