Lemme set the scene.

It’s 6:30 a.m. at the Juneau airport during tourist season. There are long lines at check-ins and security. Three or four flights are leaving at once to Anchorage and Seattle. The waiting area around all five gates is standing room only. 

And what are these two fuckin’ choades up to? I’ll tell you what. They’re getting theirs, oblivious to the needs or concerns of everyone around them.

You see, these dudebros are the only people in the whole airport who woke up at the asscrack of dawn for a flight and feel like lying down. So they’re just gonna go ahead and do that, because no one else in the immediate vicinity wants to sit down, I guess.

Elderly people with walkers and pregnant women and kids and all manner of the traveling public are perfectly happy to stand at this hour while these two dipshits manspread to 4x their allotted space in the world. And it’s not so much the specific act, which in and of itself is not that big of a deal.

It’s what this small gesture of selfishness reveals about where we are as a society, and the kind of life you must have been leading up to this point to be this oblivious to the world around you.

See, you have to believe, at some base level, that the whole world is subservient to you and your needs. That you are entitled to more than your fair share of resources. That you are fundamentally superior to the rest of society. That you deserve and should receive whatever you want, whenever you want it, regardless of the lack of consideration it entails and the disregard it requires for other people around you.

Honestly, these #AirportBros should run for President and Vice President.
