Explain to me how this man win awards, is lauded as a hero,  even though he's responsible for the deaths and suffering of thousands... Explain that please?

Recall my 4 part series from many months ago?  Part 4. The last installment SPECIFICALLY Featured Cuomo’s “planted seeds of infection that killed thousands...” Published June 4/20, entitled

State officials in New York also raised eyebrows last month by issuing a directive forcing nursing homes to accept infected patients from hospitals. New Jersey and California also issued similar rules.

        In his report on the news, Guy Benson at Townhall wrote: "[New York Gov. Andrew] Cuomo and everyone responsible for this failure must answer for it. And how could anyone not foresee this being a massive problem?"

Cuomo wasn't alone in his deliverance of death by respiratory virus to those that we're supposed to have been protected from it. - Doug Ford here in Ontario did the same thing. This was done in Quebec and in the UK as well. Reread the first 3 parts of this tragedy. Easily preventable. But, clearly preventing these deaths was not the goal.

Recently released records from the New York Department of Health have revealed that a March 25, 2020 directive issued by Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo resulted in 9,056 hospital patients recovering from COVID-19 being placed into nursing homes, a number that was 40 percent higher than what the state health department had previously reported.

The directive, which forbade nursing homes from turning away residents with COVID-19, was issued to free up hospital beds amid rising case numbers, but Cuomo effectively rescinded it in May 2020, nearly 10 months later, amid worries of increasing infections in nursing homes.

Michael Caputo, assistant secretary of public affairs in the Department of Health and Human Services under the administration of then-President Donald Trump, blasted Cuomo's directive, as did other critics. In an August 17, 2020 tweet, Caputo wrote that Cuomo's order had "planted the seeds of infection that killed thousands of grandmothers and grandfathers."

Amid such criticisms, state health officials said that asymptomatic nursing home employees and visitors, rather than recovering COVID-19 patients, were primarily responsible for infecting nursing home residents. Officials also said that Cuomo's directive didn't increase the percentage of COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes, and that number of deaths stayed stable during the window that his directives would've effected.

Cuomo and his official's lied. And many died. As the virus spread further through the community.

While the media whipped the hysteria up to frenzied levels-  

Cuomo and many other politicians should be imprisoned. And their wealth confiscated in order that their victims/victims families be compensated. They should not profit from their crimes.
